Be prepared for a leisurely and relaxing ride down the Hocking River. Tubing is great for those without time restraints and those who are not into paddling. Tubing allows you to ride with the current until you reach the canoe livery. The trip takes about 4-5 hours and is available until 2:00p.m. Availability varies on water level conditions. Crocketts Run is ideal for beginners, families with young children or those who want a short outing on the Hocking River. This five mile stretch is regularly cleared from trees and limbs to make a smooth and enjoyable ride. This trips offers secluded scenery (hills, sandbars, rock formations, etc) and the opportunity to see the abundant wildlife (deer, turtles, beavers, and small mouth fish). |
