Hocking Hills Crockets Run FAQs

What types of boats can we use on this trip?

Guests may choose from:

  • Canoe
  • Single kayak
  • Tandem kayak
  • Raft
  • Tube

All boats, paddles, and life jackets are included with your trip.

The trip covers approximately five  miles and typically takes 1–2 hours on the water, depending on river conditions and how often you stop to relax or swim.

We recommend bringing:

  • Sunscreen
  • Water
  • Snacks or a small cooler
  • Secure footwear (water shoes or sandals)

There are no places to purchase food or drinks along the river.

 

We recommend leaving your keys with us for safekeeping while you’re on the river. Please lock all other valuables securely in your vehicle, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.


Be sure to use a watertight case for your phone, and avoid bringing any valuables you are not comfortable getting wet.

Yes. You’re welcome to slow down, float, or take short breaks along the river as conditions allow. Many guests enjoy relaxing and taking in the scenery along this stretch.
