What is included in each yurt rental
- Each 625-square-foot yurt includes two bedrooms, a full kitchen, a private bathroom, and a private hot tub. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided — just bring your food and sense of adventure.Over 50 years of outdoor adventure experience
What is the difference between Song Bird and Fire Fly?
- Both yurts are the same size and include the same amenities. Each has its own personality and décor, so you can pick the one that speaks to you — or book both if you’re traveling as a larger group.
Can I do a river trip during my stay?
Absolutely — that’s one of our biggest advantages. As part of Hocking Hills Adventures, yurt guests have easy access to our river trips, canoe rentals, and tubing on the Hocking River. Adventure is right at your door. The canoe livery office is approximately 1/2 mile from the yurts
How far are the yurts from Hocking Hills State Park attractions?
- Our yurts are located in Logan, Ohio, just a short drive from Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Conkle’s Hollow, and Rock House — all the signature Hocking Hills destinations. Our yurts are less than 2 miles from Krogers and Starbucks so you can easily restock and resupply.
Are the yurts pet-friendly?
- Yurts are not pet-friendly. If you’re planning to bring a furry friend, please contact us at 740-385-8685 and we’ll do our best to point you toward other options in the area.
Is there a fire pit?
- Yes! Each yurt has its own private fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows, sharing stories under the stars, or just unwinding after a day of adventure on the river or trails.
What is your cancelation policy?
- We get that plans change. Cancel at least 14 days before your arrival for a full refund, minus a $10 processing fee. For added flexibility, Trip Protection allows you to reschedule or request a refund up to one hour before your stay — rescheduling must be used within one year of your original booking date.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in may be available depending on availability and cleaning schedules — just reach out to us ahead of your stay and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
How many guests does each yurt sleep?
- Each yurt sleeps four people, one king size bedroom and one queen size bedroom
