The Mighty Hocking!

A tributary of the Ohio River, the mighty Hocking flows 96 miles. We operate on arguably the best 15 mile stretch of the entire river. Take a trip ranging from 2 hours to 2 days in a canoe , kayak, raft or tube!

Natural Rockbridge

Rockbridge's natural arch or bridge is more than 100 feet long and 10 to 20 feet wide, and gracefully arches 50 feet across a ravine. It is considered the largest natural bridge in Ohio. Only the Ladd Natural Bridge in Washington County rivals it in size. The Natural Rockbridge can be viewed by taking Trip #2, Trip #3, or Trip #4. The landmark is short two minute walk from the bank of the Hocking River. It is marked by an orange post and a state park sign.

Amish Camper Cabins

Comfy camper cabins for those who want the outdoor experience, but still want to sleep in a stylish cabin at night. Choose from 10 by 10 or 10 by 16. Cabins are complete with lofts, microwave, refridgerator, coffee maker and park grills. Click the above to learn more.

Trip 3 Clear Creek to Livery

This trip offers the best uncrowded section of the Hocking. Many customers agree that the upper section is the most scenic since it is full of rock formations and river tributaries. The Natural Rockbridge and sorrounding Nature Preserves add to the spectacluar scenary along this route. Canoeing from Creek Creek to Livery can easily be stretched into a leisurely all day paddle. Clear Creek to Livery is available until 10am on weekends and Noon on weekdays.

Moonlight Tours

Indulge your friends and family for in an evening of tranquility and delight. The Moonlight Tour is a two hour canoe ride that gives you the opportunity to experience the Hocking River in a whole new light: the Full Moon. Let your senses guide as you will find something surreal about the water, the trees and the surrounding wildlife. The trip starts at sunset and concludes at the canoe livery, where your car is parked. The fun continues all night, live entertainment is always scheduled following the paddle. Wine is provided during the bonfire along with an old fashioned marshmallow roast

Go-Karts

Race your friends and family in the areas only figure eight go-kart track. Everyone can ride! Kids karts are available along with double karts for the little ones

Why not be the family hero since our prices are so affordable? Take the family (two adults and two kids) on a 5 mile canoe ride for less than $35. For an all day event do the Fun Package for $30 a person.

Trip 2 Rockbridge to Livery

The most most popular trip because it gives you the opportunity to visit the magnificent Natural Rockbridge! Our drop off is directly across the river from this natural wonder. The Natural Rockbridge is made off BlackHand Sandstone which had been carved out through centuries of erosion. The near by town of Rockbridge bears its name from the formation. Canoeing this trip is also popular since the old Hocking Canal can be viewed on route to our destination. Trip II is perfect for those more time to canoe the Hocking and enjoy the spectacular and undeveloped landscapes.

Riverside Camping

Stake a spot on the Mighty Hocking. Camp along the sandy banks of the Hocking River. Sites are large and can accomodate 6 people on each site. Best of all, you can swim and fish from most camp-spots

Raft the Mighty Hocking

Rafting is an excellent for choice for families with small children, groups who wish to stay together, or unexperienced paddlers during high water conditions. There are three rafts sizes available to choose from. The flexibility of the different sizes makes this activity perfect for everyone from couples to large groups! Rafting typically takes longer than canoeing and kayaking so make sure you have ample time for this activity. Rafts are often not available in late July or August due to shallow water conditions. Trip 1 Crocketts Run to Livery

This trip is ideal for beginners, families with young children or those who want a short outing on the Hocking River. Canoe a five mile stretch that is regularly cleared from trees and limbs. Canoeing on this trip offers secluded scenery (hills, sandbars, rock formations, etc) and the opportunity to see abundant wildlife (deer, turtles, beavers, and small mouth fish).Crocketts run to Livery is available until 5pm.
